My name is Mikayla Nicole Roseman, but I go by Kayla.
Obviously I love quotes a lot, as you can tell at the top of the page. I don't really know why but I love inspiring quotes, I just love being inspired. Especially for sports. Sports are such a huge part of my life, mostly soccer. I've been playing soccer for 8 years now, I must be at a soccer tournament every other weekend, I play for HFC, its a club in Asheville. I also played for the school last year and I scored in every game except for two. But I also play other sports, as in basketball, volleyball and track. I play them all for the school.
Okay, enough about sports, there's also a lot of things I don't like. My top one is probably boring people. People that just don't try new things and try to be like everyone else lose all my interest. Another thing I don't like is drama. I'm usually not in it, and when I am I get out fast, its just all so annoying and useless.
The people who support me through my busy life is my family, they mean the world to me. I live with my dad Mike, my mom Beverly and my 16 year old brother Jake, who some of the teachers may know because he went to Owen middle school 3 years ahead of me. He now plays varsity baseball as the pitcher and shortstop for Owen High School. But I also have 2 other older brothers and their names are Brandon and Ryan. Brandon is 23 and works in downtown Asheville, he is a hotdog vendor and goes to school part time at AB Tech, and is studying for a business degree. My brother Ryan is 26 and used to be in the Army but was in a land mine explosion in Afghanistan, but he lived with a back injury but was then taken out of the army. Then he was a officer for the Pentagon but he just recently got the job of being a officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency. My dad and mom is such a huge part of my life. My dad got me into my sports and he is always the one to help me out and practice with me. My mom is so supportive and always gives me the best advice.
But lets get back to talking about me. I honestly don't have hobby's to do because I have barely any time. But I do love listening to music, I recently got really into the Beatles, but I also love Eminem and Sam Smith (very big difference in songs genres I know). But, I normally work on soccer moves outside. Alright, I may sound like my whole life is sports and stuff but its not, it is a big part of it but i do have a girly side. I love going out places and getting to dress up and go out with my girls. I love going new places, that brings me too vacations. I love them! I went out West twice, I went to the Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, Moab Utah, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Tetons, Jackson hole Wyoming, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore/Chief Crazy Horse in South Dakota. My most favorite would have been my trip to New Orleans. I saw so many crazy things, I went to Cafe De Monde, and the doughnuts were amazing. I also went around town and Bourbon street was my favorite. I've made many memories on vacations and I hope to make more in the future. I hope the future is good to me, I have so many plans. I would love to play college soccer for UNC Chapel Hill and hopefully farther than that. But if that doesn't happen I would love to major in criminology or medical classes ( emergency doctor/vet )
Well, that's just a little of my big life. ( Even though im a small girl 4'11 ) but you will learn much more about me as the year goes on.
